PM Anwar urges Penangites to retain Pakatan Harapan leaders

Eye-opening inspired Penang residents to proceed supporting Pakatan Harapan (PH) leaders, whom he believes have ruled the state effectively. He emphasised his sturdy relationship with Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow and confirmed the federal government’s commitment to aiding Penang in resolving state-related issues.
Anwar addressed the issues raised during political campaigns, which claimed that if he were to guide, it would result in the end of the Malays and the closure of spiritual colleges. He also dismissed allegations that he was yielding to the Democratic Action Party’s (DAP) needs in the country’s administration, stating that he cannot be ‘bought’ as some events have claimed.
During a meet and greet session with Balik Pulau residents, the Prime Minister mentioned, “Penang should give alternatives to succesful leaders to control, I wish to clarify here and we must fully perceive this.”
He added, “So I am asking Penang to proceed to be strong (under PH rule), I am always in shut contact with the Chief Minister. The federal government will assist in no matter means it can, and what the state authorities is able to doing, let it deal with.”
Anwar additionally addressed his relationship with DAP, saying, “Yes, DAP is our good friend, and we solely give them positions, but do bear in mind who is still the boss… Do you think I am stupid?”
