Svanehøj to supply pumps for 15 LNG dual-fuel container vessels

Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has won an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to provide gasoline pump techniques for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell gas pumps might be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is certainly one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders to date. It is also the second LNG fuel pump methods order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj within the last yr. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to offer deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are numerous indications that sales might enhance even further in 2022.
“Until a couple of years ago, using LNG as a marine gasoline was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships.
